How it works
EcoBrace combines energy efficiency data with DWP benefits and council tax bands and helps identifying ECO4/GBIS eligible properties. You can use the analyst to perform bulk search on a particular postcode district e.g. KT22, and the tool returns thousands of properties in one hit. You can then narrow down the results based on various filters e.g. Benefits Factor %, EPC bands, council tax bands, floor area, mains gas, fuel type (oil, gas, electric etc.). *For Plus and Premium plans - you get 5,000 and 10,000 credits every month respectively. Credits are consumed every time your search includes missing EPC's or council tax bands. For missing EPC's, 1 credit is consumed per full postcode and for council tax bands, 3 credits are consumed per full postcode. You can buy more credits if you run out during a month, the cost is 0.05£ per credit. Normal searches (without missing EPC's or council tax bands) do not consume any credits. For example, if you do a search on KT22, which contains 1000 postcodes, it will consume 1000 credits. You can minimise credit spend by applying filters like EPC band = (E,F,G, Missing) and Mains Gas = No, this will then reduce postcodes to around 75 for KT22, thus only 75 credits will be consumed. You can always check your remaining credits in your profile.
All plans start with an unlimited free trial restricted to Derby, Liverpool and Birmingham postcodes for you to test the tool. Once you are ready to upgrade, we remove restrictions and you gain full access to the whole of England and Wales.

In line with the popularity of GBIS, we have added roof / loft specific details in search results grid including Roof type (e.g. Pitched or Flat), loft insulation depth (e.g. 100 mm, 25mm etc.) and Roof energy efficiency. These measures help identifying potential loft / GBIS work. These are only available to paid members.

Added GBIS Scoring calculator based on Ofgem GBIS Matrix v2. As an added bonus, you can use search for an EPC to populate some of the inputs. The calculator gives you PPS scores and potential funding.

Notes
Only latest EPC's are included for a property.
Only residential data is incldued in all analyses (we can include commercial data as well e.g. Epc's if there is enough demand from users).
The data is retrieved from various sources, latest EPC's for every property, benefits data at area level (1 - 5 postcodes), geography data (addresses) and various other third party data sources are included.
All of England, Wales and Scotland is supported, but for Scotland, we only incldue valid EPC's i.e. EPC's carried out in the past 10 years.
Additional info for members
Benefits factor. Members can select a benefit factor which is a relative measure of people on benefits in an area. Please note the tool does not provide details on individual households, but at an area level (area being 1 - 5 postcodes)
Missing EPC's. Members can also search for properties with missing EPC's, both for individual postcodes e.g. DE23 8PG or for a postcode district e.g. DE23
Main gas. Members can filter by Mains gas, so can get off-grid properties or properties not on mains gas
